Science of Music at East Lake Elementary

Music is sound, but there are lots of ways to observe, measure, describe, and predict the sounds musicians make. Our Science of Music explores how sounds are made and measured, and what it looks like on an oscilloscope. We make some rudimentary instruments and demonstrate how sounds are made on oboe and bass to show how science and art intersect.
